From Every Day Health to Complex Conditions

At the Hennessy Clinic we take a functional, whole-body approach to health. Instead of treating symptoms in isolation, we identify the underlying imbalance affecting your system. Using muscle testing, nutritional guidance, structural techniques, emotional balancing and tailored lifestyle advice, we support the body’s natural repair pathways and help restore long-term wellbeing.

If you want to understand where your symptoms are coming from, improve your cellular health or finally feel well again, we can help.

The Hennessy Clinic takes an unrivalled approach to balancing hormones, which draws clients in from all around the UK. 90% of symptoms will be gone after the first appointment.

We treat perimenopause (night sweats, brain fog, anxiety, hot flushes), general hormone imbalances in men and women, irregular/heavy menstrual cycles, period pains, PCOS, fibroids, sub-fertility in men and women, Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism.

Why conventional approaches may fall short …

The body produces and metabolizes hormones in a chain, which is both complex and very clever. Each hormone converts into the next one along the chain. By pumping a hormone into the body (synthetic or bioidentical) to artificially increase the levels, it may suppress certain problematic symptoms, but it will create further systemic imbalance in the long run through disruption to the biological pathways. Furthermore there is a lot of trial and error to get the right combination of HRT for a person.

The biofeedback from muscle testing removes all of this guesswork. Through a protocol unique to The Hennessy Clinic Leanne can test to see exactly where your hormone chain breaks down and what bespoke nutrition your body needs to upregulate the biological pathways and restore balance.

“One client came to the Hennessy Clinic suffering from severe night sweats, changing her bed sheets and pyjamas up to five times a night. We quickly identified where the hormonal pathway was breaking down and determined the precise nutritional support needed to restore proper hormone production and metabolism. In this case, the client required only a single pot of B vitamins. After treatment, she experienced just one minor night sweat, not severe enough to disturb her sleep or require changing clothes or bedding. By the second night, the night sweats had completely stopped and never returned. Over the following weeks, she began to feel more like herself again—calmer, clearer in mind, more focused, and regaining the confidence she had lost during two difficult years of perimenopause.”

Nearly 50% of people in the UK suffer with gut issues such as IBS, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Most people that come to The Hennessy Clinic have spent years trying to find relief for their symptoms, but answers are so hard to find in the world of conventional medicine.

Why conventional approaches may fall short …

Quickly and easily Kinesiology will identify the root cause of the gut imbalance. There is a specific muscle linked to each individual organ in the digestive system; stomach, small intestine, large intestine, gall bladder, for example the quads link to the small intestine, and the pectoralis minor links to the stomach. Reading the biofeedback from these muscles will show where the gut issues are coming from and how we fix them.

Eash session will be tailored to your individual set of symptoms and will factor in your biochemical make up and the unique set of contributing lifestyle factors.

“Most people that come to The Hennessy Clinic with gut health issues have been suffering for years. They have had blood tests, stool tests, endoscopies, and some have been to see top doctors on Harley Street and over-seas. A woman came to me after years of abdominal pain, convinced she might have bowel cancer. Despite numerous consultations, no doctor or specialist had been able to identify the cause. Through muscle testing, we discovered that her pain was linked to unresolved grief following the loss of her son. Once this grief was released using tapping and flower remedies, the pain disappeared immediately. There is no guesswork in assessing gut health — it is essentially hacking the body’s biocomputer.”

A skin condition is a sign of a deeper systemic imbalance in the body. It’s a bit like when a warning light comes on your car to alert you that there is an issue with your engine. At the Hennessy Clinic we treat all skin issues from eczema, acne and psoriasis to the unexplained outbreaks and reactions.

Why conventional approaches may fall short …

The conventional way to treat a skin issue is with pharmaceutical creams and medications, which suppress the symptoms. They don’t ‘fix the engine’.

How kinesiology identifies root causes … with Kinesiology we use biofeedback from specific muscles to work out quickly and accurately where the systemic imbalance is, and that’s what we fix. By addressing the root cause of the skin issue the skin clears up for good.

When treating skin issues at The Hennessy Clinic factors such as lifestyle, diet, stress and gut health will always be considered.

“A woman consulted me after experiencing severe eczema for over ten years, affecting her face, body and hands. Through muscle biofeedback, we identified an imbalance in her gut microbiome as the root cause. A tailored four-week nutrition plan was designed to restore gut health and rebalance key digestive biomarkers, alongside identifying dietary and stress triggers. Within three weeks, her eczema had completely resolved.”

Kinesiology is a great way to treat injuries and pain because the biofeedback from our central nervous system gives an invaluable insight into exactly what is needed for a fast and complete recovery. A Kinesiologist connects with the central nervous system through muscle testing to determine which of the following the injury/condition needs:

A structural fix – does the body need muscular manipulation, a gentle chiropractic technique, lymphatic work to increase blood flow to the area?
A nutritional fix – does the body need a supplement to promote healing?
An emotional fix – is chronic stress or an unresolved emotion/experience impacting the bodies ability to heal?
An energetic fix – are the neurological connections to the injury/pain site clear or is there a blockage? Is there enough energy flowing to the injury/pain site?

All of this is corrected in your session in a gentle non-invasive way.

Many people spend years receiving treatment for their physical injuries. In Kinesiology we fix things in just a couple of sessions – for good! The reason we can do this is because we balance the body structurally, nutritionally, emotionally and energetically. This is important because emotional stress, nutritional deficiencies and the bodies energy system all factor into our physical health and our ability to recover and heal.

“A professional rugby player visited the clinic with a shoulder problem that had persisted for three years. Despite regular physiotherapy and osteopathy sessions, his progress had plateaued. Muscle testing revealed that the root cause was stress related to his personal life. Biofeedback from his central nervous system indicated the need for a flower remedy to release layers of conscious and unconscious tension and activate the body’s natural recovery process. Although initially sceptical, he called three days later to report that his shoulder was completely healed.”

Many physical symptoms and illnesses manifest from unresolved emotional stress and trauma. At The Hennessy Clinic we treat all forms of emotional stress, anxiety and trauma, fears, phobias, limiting beliefs, and a general feeling of being ‘stuck’ in life.

We use the powerful yet very gentle combination of Kinesiology and leading Neuroplasticity techniques. The biofeedback from muscle testing guides us to the root cause of the emotional imbalance; the triggers, emotions and experiences that lie underneath the stress. We use acupressure points and Neuro Emotional points on the body to release the stress, and we use subconscious rewiring and tapping to instill new positive beliefs. This approach has a much higher success rate than traditional talk therapy and medication. It’s delivers life changing results in just one session.

“Emotional trauma can be deeply personal and often arises from highly individual experiences, so while specific case studies are not shared out of respect for privacy, we regularly help clients overcome a wide range of emotional difficulties—from grief, fear and intrusive thoughts to the lasting impact of distressing or traumatic events.”

Allergies and food intolerances are on the rise and Leanne is always shocked by the number of patients and practitioners who think you just have to put up with them. She meets people all the time who say things like “we can’t have a dog because I am allergic to the hair” or “I can’t eat gluten because it gives me digestive issues”. Allergies and intolerances are simple to fix when you understand the root cause of the issue, which usually lies in systemic dysregulation in the gut or immune system.

Leanne sees allergies and intolerances as important messages from the body that tell us there is a deeper systemic imbalance. This is an opportunity to repair this dysfunction and upregulate your biological pathways to prevent future illness or disease. There is an old Banshee saying which sums up this ethos “If you listen to the whispers you won’t have to hear the screams.”

At The Hennessy Clinic we use the biofeedback from muscle testing to quickly and accurately work out where the root cause of your allergies lie, and what the body needs in order to up-regulate and heal.

“We once treated a patient who experienced skin irritation from adhesive plasters, developing an itchy, localised rash whenever she used them. The underlying cause was a minor imbalance in the gut, which we were able to correct in a single session. Another patient presented with severe sensitivity to environmental toxins in her home, resulting in persistent headaches, brain fog and nasal congestion. In this case, the issue stemmed from an imbalance within the immune system. Through a tailored nutritional programme, her symptoms resolved completely within a few weeks.”
